In a highly anticipated Bundesliga clash, Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at the BayArena on Friday night.

After a goalless first half, the match burst into life in the second period. Exequiel Palacios gave Leverkusen the lead from the penalty spot in the 58th minute. Bayern responded with goals from Thomas Muller and Serge Gnabry within four minutes to turn the match on its head.
However, Leverkusen refused to give up and equalized in the 90th minute through Kerem Demirbay. Both teams had chances to snatch a late winner, but neither could find the decisive goal.
