What happened?
In last night's episode (Tuesday, July 26), viewers watched as Lou left Walford after a series of emotional scenes. She was last seen getting into a car with her ex-husband, Peter Beale, and being driven away. However, she left no explanation for her sudden departure, leaving her family and friends wondering what had happened.
Why did Lou leave?
The exact reason for Lou's departure is not yet known. However, there have been a number of clues in recent episodes that suggest she may have been struggling with something. In one scene, she was seen arguing with her husband, Billy Mitchell. In another, she was seen crying in the bathroom. It's possible that Lou has left Walford to escape her problems.
Will Lou return?
